The 12th annual community arts showcase held at Jackson High School is scheduled February 24 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will feature performance artists, live paintings, mask making, face painting, and a photo booth to capture the moment. The community is invited to bring a mask and dress for the event, and admission is free.

“Each year the Extravaganza grows to include more talented student artists,” said program director and district arts consultant, Susan Gardner. “This year’s Carnival theme is a perfect way to express the joy, exuberance, creativity and celebration of the arts.”

The evening will include more than 30 live performances as well as stunning work by fine artists and photographers. A new exhibit in The Meraki Gallery will display works by prestigious Gold Key and Silver Key Scholastic Art award winners.

This year’s Live Auction will feature more than a dozen experiences and collections including The Ohio State University football Club Seats, Cleveland Indians baseball tickets, weekend getaways and rare jewelry. Back by popular demand, the Silent Auction will present nearly 130 valuable gift baskets for bidding.
