JSA Art Selected by Akron Children's Hospital

As part of the continuing development of its community-wide art collection, Akron Children’s Hospital has selected four works of art created by Jackson School for the Arts students.

The selected art works will be included in the hospital’s permanent art collection, and displayed in the radiology department at the hospital.

Hannah Elias (grade 10) Elizabeth Lowe (grade 10) Gabrielle Peteya (grade 9) and Megan Westphal (grade 10) have each had a work of art selected for this prestigious recognition.

"On behalf of the entire JSA team, we sincerely congratulate these talented students for being selected for this honor," said Susan Gardner, JSA program director. "This is yet another testimony to the outstanding talent and hard work of JSA students, and the dedication and support of JSA staff and parents. Well done!"

Akron Children's Hospital's original collection of more than 1600 artworks from local artists, community groups, and student artists debuted with the centennial addition in 1993.
